Welcome to Peace of the Moon - a business I feel so proud to own.
I found a passion for everything sleep-related when I had my first child; my gorgeous, cheeky, sensitive little boy, Stanley. I was 41 + 6 days overdue, waiting for the announcement from Boris to say we all had to stay in our homes and cut physical communication with our loved ones.
After what felt like a very long pregnancy, Stanley was born at the start of April 2020. Becoming a new mum during this scary and uncertain time meant that I had to figure everything out on my own. I felt truly overwhelmed.
One thing I had on my side was time! Social plans were cancelled, so I spent my time learning about everything baby and sleep-related, but, there was so much conflicting advice out there and so many Mums in the same position as me.
Following the birth of my second baby; my beautiful, adventurous little girl Sofia, my urge to help other parents really kicked in. I couldn’t stop thinking about how fusing my years of coaching within schools and the tried and tested knowledge I had gained, could really help support families, just like yours.
Fast-forward and today Peace of The Moon has now supported so many families to resolve sleep problems with effective, personal and gentle sleep coaching tailored to your family.

"Our little girl had gotten used to us feeding her to go to sleep. We literally used to keep feeding her until she fell to sleep as it was the only way.
Amy sent us a plan of how to stop this and make sure Ellie could go off to sleep on her own.
Ellie has always been so hard to understand and has had reflux issues from birth, so her needs are more complex but Amy understood & adapted the plan to help her.
Ellie now has 1 hour to 2 hour naps which before was 45 minutes max and is now predictable with when she will wake up so we can plan around her.
She also now sleeps through the night (hopefully this doesn't jinx it), we are also trying to drop the dream feed now so hopefully Amy's plan, to not just feed her straight away when she wakes, works again."

"Before we used Amy for help we almost thought, 'Connor’s the second child his sleep must be normal, it will just correct itself', but he got to 16 months and something needed doing.
Up until 13 months, he was waking 2 or 3 times a night and then waking at 4am for the day and not sleeping long enough for his naps in the day.
Having Amy’s help has changed to Connor’s sleeping a good 2/2.5 hours in the day for his nap and instead of 9/10 hours at night to over 11 sometimes 12!
